What we collect when you order, what stays in your own browser, who we share it with, and how the studio measures the shop — including the Microsoft Clarity sessions that help us improve it. No ad trackers, and nothing that follows you around.

Who we are

Genzeria is a small-batch streetwear studio in Pakistan, run by Farhan, Abdullah and Ayyan. There is no account to create and no password to remember: you order as a guest, and the studio handles the order by hand.

This page explains what we do with the details you give us, what stays on your own device, and how we measure the shop. The rules of buying from the studio are set out separately in the terms and conditions.

Email genzeriaa@gmail.com, call the support line or message the studio on WhatsApp.

What we collect

Order details. Your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and city, plus any note you leave for the courier. Alongside them we record what you ordered: the piece, size, colour, quantity and add-ons, the flat delivery fee, and the total.

Payment details we never take. Checkout offers cash on delivery and advance bank transfer. We never see or store card numbers, bank logins, one-time codes or a bank-transfer PIN. If you choose bank transfer, talk to the studio before paying.

Reviews. The display name you type, your rating, the title and the text you send.

Messages. Whatever you send us when you ask a question: your own words, and any order number or screenshot you include.

Beyond that, nothing that names you. Browsing the shop on its own does not tell us who you are — although the analytics tool under How we measure does record how the pages are used, without knowing who you are.

What stays on your own device

The bag, the contact details you typed at checkout, and any order you saved for later are kept in your own browser rather than on our server. That is local storage, which is not a cookie: it never travels with your requests, and no other site can read it. The three entries are named genzeria-cart, genzeria-contact and genzeria-orders.

Everything you can see there, you can remove: the bag has a remove control on each line, the receipt and the tracker both offer Remove it from this device, and clearing site data in your browser wipes all three at once. We cannot read or delete them for you, because they never reach us.

The studio's own part of the site writes no cookies of its own. The one cookie our code sets belongs to the private console, where it keeps a team member signed in; it is never set on a customer's browser. The exception is the analytics tool below, which sets its own small cookies on your device — see How we measure.

How we use it

  • To take, prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
  • To email your confirmation and each status change.
  • To let you look the order up yourself on the orders page. The tracker asks for the order number, email and phone together, so three details have to match before anything is returned.
  • To answer a question you send us, and to sort out anything that goes wrong with a delivery.
  • To read a review before it appears on the site.
  • To keep the sales records we are required to keep for accounting and tax.
  • To spot and stop misuse, such as fake orders or automated abuse of the checkout.

We use your details for the order, question or review they came with. We do not sell them, rent them, trade them, or hand them to anyone to advertise to you.

How we measure (analytics)

Microsoft Clarity. To understand how people actually use the shop, this site runs Microsoft Clarity. It records the way a page is used — where the mouse moves, where people click and scroll, and how the pages flow together — so the studio can see where the bag and checkout get confusing and fix them. Clarity is free, run by Microsoft, and is the only analytics or measurement tool on the site. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta or TikTok pixel, and no advertising identifier used to follow you around and sell against you.

What Clarity does and does not know about you. Clarity gives each visitor a pseudonymous ID held in a cookie, so it can stitch one visit together. It does not know your name, email or order — those live only in our own order records, and Clarity is not given them. Clarity masks the text you type by default: anything entered into a box (your name, email, phone, address) is blurred in recordings and never uploaded as readable text, and the studio has left that masking on. If a visit becomes an order, the order number is known to us but not linked back to a Clarity session.

Cookies Clarity sets. To measure the site it sets a few small cookies on your device: first-party cookies named _clck and _clsk (its visitor and session IDs), and Microsoft's own third-party cookies (CLID, MUID, MR, SM, ANONCHK) that identify your browser across Microsoft sites. Blocking cookies in your browser stops these being set, and the shop keeps working.

Where it goes. Clarity's data is processed and stored by Microsoft on Azure, under Microsoft's own privacy terms, which you can read at privacy.microsoft.com. It is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers. Clarity records are kept for a limited period and then removed under Microsoft's retention settings.

What the studio does count. The private console also shows the numbers a small studio has to know: orders today, this month and over the last seven days, revenue for the same periods, the average order value, which pieces are selling, which sizes are running low, and how many reviews are waiting to be read. Every one of those figures is a summary of order records — orders that exist because somebody bought something. It is not a profile of you, and it cannot be traced back to a browsing session.

Who can see it. Only the signed-in studio team, inside a console behind a password. It is not public, not sold, and not shared with advertisers.

Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, requested URL) for security and troubleshooting. The application itself does not store your IP address, and we do not use logs for marketing. Clarity receives the IP only as Microsoft needs it to run the service, per its own terms.

If that ever changes. If we add another measurement or advertising tool, it will be named here before it is switched on, and the date at the top of this page will change with it.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum needed, and only with the people doing a job for us:

  • The courier delivering your parcel: your name, address, city and phone number.
  • The hosting and database providers that store the order.
  • Email delivery: our transactional mail goes out through Google's Gmail service, so your email address passes through it on the way to your inbox.
  • Our image host, which serves the product photographs. It holds product pictures, not customer details.
  • Microsoft, for the Clarity analytics described above. Clarity is given how the site is used, not your order details — see How we measure.

We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers. If a lawful authority requires records, we hand over only what is actually required.

How long we keep it

Order and contact records stay in the studio's database for up to three years, so sales, tax and after-sales questions can be answered, and are removed after that.

Reviews stay for as long as the site shows the piece they are about.

Anything held in your own browser stays until you clear it there. We cannot delete it for you, because we never had it.

Your choices

Write to the studio and we will help you get a copy of the details we hold for you, correct something that is wrong, or delete what we are not required to keep. Include the order number where you can — it is the fastest way to find the record.

Requests usually take a few working days. If we cannot do what you ask, we will say so and explain why rather than leave it hanging.

Email genzeriaa@gmail.com, call the support line or message the studio on WhatsApp.

How we protect it

The order database is not on the public internet — it answers only to our own service — and the console that reads it sits behind a password and an unreadable session cookie. The site is served over HTTPS, and an order lookup needs three matching details before anything is returned.

No system is perfect. If you ever spot something that looks unsafe, tell the studio and we will look into it straight away.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top. Material changes are worth a look before your next order.

Questions about any of it? Email genzeriaa@gmail.com, call the support line or message the studio on WhatsApp.
